VFW Post 6849 proudly serves as the Charter Organization for Scouts BSA Troop 60, a boys scout troop that is active in the Monterey county area.  With over 85 years of history, Troop 60 is one of California's oldest troops.
 
71 scouts within the Troop have advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout with 3 more projected in 2024.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Troop 60 will host their Spring Court of honor and recognition ceremony on May 21 at Spreckels Memorial Park.  Not only will scouts receive awards for the past 5 months of effort but will will also recognize the newly elected Scout Leadership and our newest Order of the Arrow candidates selecteees.
